Abstract  

Systems with closed side branches are liable to an excitation of sound known as cavity tone. It may occur in pipe branches leading to safety valves or to boiler relief valves. The outbreak mechanism of the cavity tone has been ascertained by phase-averaged pressure measurements in previous research, while the relation between sound propagation and the flow field is still unclear due to the difficulty of detecting the instantaneous velocity field. It is possible to detect the two-dimensional instantaneous velocity field using high time-resolved particle image velocimetry (PIV). In this study, flow-induced acoustic resonance in a piping system containing closed side branches was investigated experimentally. A high time-resolved PIV technique was used to measure the gas flow in a cavity. Airflow containing oil mist as tracer particles was measured using a high-frequency pulse laser and a high-speed camera. The present investigation on the coaxial closed side branches is the first rudimentary study to visualize the fluid flow two-dimensionally in a cross-section using high time-resolved PIV, and to measure the pressure at the downstream side opening of the cavity by microphone. The fluid flows at different points in the cavity interact, with some phase differences between them, and the relation between the fluid flows was clarified.  相似文献

To evaluate the influence of exposure time on speckle noise for laser displays, speckle contrast measurement method was developed observable at a human eye response time using a high-sensitivity camera which has a signal multiplying function. The nonlinearity of camera light sensitivity was calibrated to measure accurate speckle contrasts, and the measuring lower limit noise of speckle contrast was improved by applying spatial-frequency low pass filter to the captured images. Three commercially available laser displays were measured over a wide range of exposure times from tens of milliseconds to several seconds without adjusting the brightness of laser displays. The speckle contrast of raster-scanned mobile projector without any speckle-reduction device was nearly constant over various exposure times. On the contrary to this, in full-frame projection type laser displays equipped with a temporally-averaging speckle-reduction device, some of their speckle contrasts close to the lower limits noise were slightly increased at the shorter exposure time due to the noise. As a result, the exposure-time effect of speckle contrast could not be observed in our measurements, although it is more reasonable to think that the speckle contrasts of laser displays, which are equipped with the temporally-averaging speckle-reduction device, are dependent on the exposure time. This discrepancy may be attributed to the underestimation of temporal averaging factor. We expected that this method is useful for evaluating various laser displays and clarify the relationship between the speckle noise and the exposure time for a further verification of speckle reduction.  相似文献

In homomorphic encryption schemes, anyone can perform homomorphic operations, and therefore, it is difficult to manage when, where and by whom they are performed. In addition, the property that anyone can “freely” perform the operation inevitably means that ciphertexts are malleable, and it is well-known that adaptive chosen ciphertext (CCA) security and the homomorphic property can never be achieved simultaneously. In this paper, we show that CCA security and the homomorphic property can be simultaneously handled in situations that the user(s) who can perform homomorphic operations on encrypted data should be controlled/limited, and propose a new concept of homomorphic public-key encryption, which we call keyed-homomorphic public-key encryption (KH-PKE). By introducing a secret key for homomorphic operations, we can control who is allowed to perform the homomorphic operation. To construct KH-PKE schemes, we introduce a new concept, transitional universal property, and present a practical KH-PKE scheme with multiplicative homomorphic operations from the decisional Diffie-Hellman (DDH) assumption. For \(\ell \)-bit security, our DDH-based KH-PKE scheme yields only \(\ell \)-bit longer ciphertext size than that of the Cramer–Shoup PKE scheme. Finally, we consider an identity-based analogue of KH-PKE, called keyed-homomorphic identity-based encryption and give its concrete construction from the Gentry IBE scheme.  相似文献

Watermarking is the imperceptible embedding of watermark bits into multimedia data in order to use for different applications. Among all its applications, copyright protection is the most prominent usage which conceals information about the owner in the carrier, so as to prohibit others from assertion copyright. This application requires high level of robustness. In this paper, a new blind quantum copyright protection method based on owners’s signature in RGB images is proposed. The method utilizes one of the RGB channels as indicator and two remained channels are used for embedding information about the owner. In our contribution the owner’s signature is considered as a text. Therefore, in order to embed in colored image as watermark, a new quantum representation of text based on ASCII character set is offered. Experimental results which are analyzed in MATLAB environment, exhibit that the presented scheme shows good performance against attacks and can be used to find out who the real owner is. Finally, the discussed quantum copyright protection method is compared with a related work that our analysis confirm that the presented scheme is more secure and applicable than the previous ones currently found in the literature.  相似文献

We investigate the violation factor of the Bell-Mermin inequality. Until now, we use an assumption that the results of measurement are ±1. In this case, the maximum violation factor is 2(n?1)/2. The quantum predictions by n-partite Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state violate the Bell-Mermin inequality by an amount that grows exponentially with n. Recently, a new measurement theory based on the truth values is proposed (Nagata and Nakamura, Int. J. Theor. Phys. 55:3616, 2016). The values of measurement outcome are either +1 or 0. Here we use the new measurement theory. We consider multipartite GHZ state. It turns out that the Bell-Mermin inequality is violated by the amount of 2(n?1)/2. The measurement theory based on the truth values provides the maximum violation of the Bell-Mermin inequality.  相似文献

First, we study several information theories based on quantum computing in a desirable noiseless situation. (1) We present quantum key distribution based on Deutsch’s algorithm using an entangled state. (2) We discuss the fact that the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm can be used for quantum communication including an error correction. Finally, we discuss the main result. We study the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm in a noisy environment. The original algorithm determines a noiseless function. Here we consider the case that the function has an environmental noise. We introduce a noise term into the function f(x). So we have another noisy function g(x). The relation between them is g(x) = f(x) ± O(??). Here O(??) ? 1 is the noise term. The goal is to determine the noisy function g(x) with a success probability. The algorithm overcomes classical counterpart by a factor of N in a noisy environment.  相似文献

It is demonstrated that polymeric materials can be directly converted into molecular (chiral) recognition nanofiber membranes by simultaneously applying an electrospray deposition and an alternative molecular imprinting during the membrane preparation process. Polysulfone with a degree of substitution of 0.88 was adopted as the candidate polymeric material for molecularly imprinted nanofiber membranes. Molecularly imprinted nanofiber membranes imprinted by Z‐D ‐Glu recognize the D ‐isomer in preference to the corresponding L ‐isomer and vice versa. The amino acid preferentially incorporated into the membrane is selectively permeated through the membrane by using a concentration gradient as a driving force for membrane transport.

A poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC,  Mw = 102×103)(\mbox{PVC,}\;{\rm M}_{\rm w} =102\times 10^3) di-octyl phthalate (DOP) gel with PVC content of 20 wt.% was prepared by a solvent evaporation method. The dynamic viscoelsticity and elongational viscosity of the PVC/DOP gel were measured at various temperatures. The gel exhibited a typical sol–gel transition behavior with elevating temperature. The critical gel temperature (Tgel) characterized with a power–law relationship between the storage and loss moduli, G and G, and frequency ω, G¢=G¢¢/tan  ( np/2 ) μ wn{G}^\prime={G}^{\prime\prime}{\rm /tan}\;\left( {{n}\pi {\rm /2}} \right)\propto \omega ^{n}, was observed to be 152°C. The elongational viscosity of the gel was measured below the Tgel. The gel exhibited strong strain hardening. Elongational viscosity against strain plot was independent of strain rate. This finding is different from the elongational viscosity behavior of linear polymer solutions and melts. The stress–strain relations were expressed by the neo-Hookean model at high temperature (135°C) near the Tgel. However, the stress–strain curves were deviated from the neo-Hookean model at smaller strain with decreasing temperature. These results indicated that this physical gel behaves as the neo-Hookean model at low cross-linking point, and is deviated from the neo-Hookean model with increasing of the PVC crystallites worked as the cross-linking junctions.  相似文献

Energy dispersive X‐ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technique, as a qualitative and quantitative analysis, was used for inorganic chemical elements determination (K, S, Cl, Al, Si, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Pb, Zn, Rb, and Bi) in eyeshadows for safe human use. International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients standardized nomenclature was used for labels investigation to obtain data on legal regularity. Data of 23 samples were clustered by similarity, measuring relative concentrations of detected chemical elements. Calculating the correlation among such values, a similarity matrix was used to generate a dendrogram. Pb was found in samples silver color S12E and copper color S22I above permissible limits (20 μg/g). Same composition was reported for the pink (S01A), black (S02A), and brown (S03A) samples, but the same chemical elements were not detected by EDXRF in them. The best correlation was found between samples S08D and S23 J (0.961). The least correlation was 0.0012 between S01A and S12E. The clustering analysis showed 7 groups of similar samples according to EDXRF data. Relations among 6 eyeshadows' colors and chemical compositions were discovered by using decision trees, where the most determinant elements were Mn, S, Cl, Ca, and Fe, in this order. Commercial regularization and International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients standardization of eyeshadows in Brazil are not fully complied by the manufacturers of the investigated brands.  相似文献
